needed according to the hospital’s scope of
service and resources.
LD.11. All of the Hospital-wide committees have
terms of reference that:
LD.11.1 Clearly outline the committee’s
functions.
LD.11.2 List the members and their titles.
LD.11.3 State the required percentage of
attendance required to hold the
meeting.
LD.11.4 State how often the committee is
expected to meet (e.g. monthly for
functional committees / quarterly for
boards and councils).
LD.11.5 Outlines the distribution of the
minutes to the Hospital Director,
Medical Director, Quality
Management Director/leader, and
members.
LD.12. The hospital committees meet as outlined in
the terms of reference (no less than quarterly).
